Down to personal choice, but this ride has been voted
the scariest ride in the world. With a 180ft vertical drop into
a pitch black hole, it is the first of its kind, and after riding
it, its understandable why! Riders are warned that they may die,
simply to enhance the experience of 4.5G’s! PTS provided full examination of the oblivion ride, using all types of NDT disciplines, to determine the quality of the steel work after all site welding was completed. The ride was designed by Swiss coaster designers Bolliger and Mabillard.
